Hebrews Kingdom Addendum

Study Questions:
(For the Diligent Student)

1. Summarize the arguments supporting Eternal Security.

2. Explain Paul’s “paranoia” and what he was afraid of.

3. Summarize the apparent distinctives between:
    a)The Kingdom of God
    b)The Kingdom of Heaven

4. Outline Psalm 2 in terms of :
    a)The Speakers
    b)The sequence of events

5. Explain how the Messiah can be of the line of David, and yet not subject to the curse on the royal line.

6. In what ways was the Davidic Covenant confirmed in the New Testament?  List the references.

7. List the “Twelves” that involve the Kingdom of Heaven.
    List the “Sevens” that involve the Kingdom of God.

8. Chart the post-rapture events
    a)On earth
    b)In Heaven

9. Explain the distinctives of each of the following:
    a)The (“Bema”) Judgment of Christ
    b)The Sheep and Goat Judgment
    c)The Great White Throne


Discussion Questions:

(“Where two people agree, one is redundant")

1. Can a Christian lose his/her salvation?  Explain.

2. Discuss the diversity of rewards at the Bema Seat of Christ.
    What rewards are you anticipating?  Why?
    Who are the “overcomers”?

3. Is the Body of Christ and the “Bride” of Christ the same?
    Explain the possible distinctions.

4. Who will populate the Millennial Kingdom? What will it be like?

Candidate Research Projects:

1. Organize a “Handbook” for the Overcomers from the Scriptures.

2. Compile a list of the differences between:
    a)The Levitical Temple worship
    b0The Millennial Temple worship

3. Develop a sketch (or model) of the Millennial Temple.

4. Explore the use of the following terms throughout the Scriptures:
    a)“Outer Darkness”
    b)“weeping and gnashing of teeth”

5. What might be implied by the Gizrah, “the separate place”?

6. Explore the possible distinctives between:
    a)The adulterous wife of YHWH
    b)The Bride of Christ
    c)The Body of Christ
