Hebrews Addenda -Luke 21
Study Questions:
(For the Diligent Student)
1. List the differences between Mattew 24 and Luke 21: the occasion, the audiences, and the emphasis.
2. Diagram both, showing the common elements and the distinctives.
(Include the 7 letters of Revelation 2 & 3)
3. Has the destruction of Jerusalem detailed in the Luke’s account happened yet?
4. When Nero died, who succeeded him? How does this impact our understanding of Luke 21?
5. In the fall of Jerusalem in 70 AD,
a) How many Jews died?
b) How many Christians?
Discussion Questions:

1. Is the account in Luke 21 the same event as recorded in Matthew 24?
How is this issue relevant?
2. What is the “doctrine of imminence” and how does it impact the views of:
a) post-tribulationalism?
b) mid-tribulationalism?

d) amillennialism
