The Duggars: When the Celebrated Fall

June 03, 2015

Schadenfreude: A word so precisely crafted and tuned that it simply had to be German-engineered. Translated literally as “harm-joy,” it has no direct English equivalent, but describes the universal feeling of satisfaction we all feel upon watching someone we dislike suffer — especially when the suffering seems particularly ironic or deserved.

Senator: Use RICO Laws to Prosecute Global Warming Skeptics

June 02, 2015

In 2006, Judge Gladys Kessler of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia decided that the tobacco companies’ fraudulent campaign amounted to a racketeering enterprise. According to the court: “Defendants coordinated significant aspects of their public relations, scientific, legal, and marketing activity in furtherance of a shared objective — to … maximize industry profits by preserving and expanding the market for cigarettes through a scheme to deceive the public.”

Cosmic cinema: astronomers make real-time, 3D movies of plasma tubes drifting overhead (with video)

June 01, 2015

By creatively using a radio telescope to see in 3D, astronomers have detected the existence of tubular plasma structures in the inner layers of the magnetosphere surrounding the Earth. “For over 60 years, scientists believed these structures existed but by imaging them for the first time, we’ve provided visual evidence that they are really there,” said Cleo Loi of the ARC Centre of Excellence for All-sky Astrophysics (CAASTRO) and School of Physics at the University of Sydney.

Joseph Salerno: The War on Cash (with audio)

May 29, 2015

Governments, at least modern western governments, have always hated cash transactions. Cash is private, and cash is hard to tax. So politicians trump up phony reasons like drug trafficking and money laundering to win support for bad laws like the Bank Secrecy Act of 1970, which makes even small cash transactions potentially reportable to the Feds.

Who’s Calling the Shots Concerning Israel’s Promised Land?

View Article Page | Print

ISIL and Israel

Note: Joyce Lester is a student at the Koinonia Institute working on her Silver Medallion. This paper was part of her coursework in her I620 class.

The acronym “ISIL” (when used in place of “IS” or ISIS”) conveys an underlying message on Israel’s right to exist because the “L” stands for Levant, a land crescent along the Mediterranean, including Cyprus, ISRAEL, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria and Gaza.

Animosity against Jews (anti-semitism) goes hand and glove with opposing Jewish possession of the land of Israel (anti‐Zionism). From the beginning, Satan has attempted to destroy the Jewish people and to usurp their land (Remnant Report). Throughout the centuries, names of enemies may have changed, but their ancient hatred endures.

See! Your enemies rage; those who hate you issue threats. They plot against your people and conspire against your cherished ones. They say, “Let us go and erase them as a nation so the name of Israel will not be remembered anymore.”

— Psalm 83:2–4, ISV

Considering 2000 years of the Jewish Diaspora, millenniums of persecution, and Israel’s land being conquered by seven different nations (Ross), it’s an absolute miracle she exists.

As indicated by Leviticus 25:23, God owns the land and is therefore justified in giving it to whomever He (God) desires, “…The land is not to be sold with any finality, because the land belongs to me. You’re sojourners and travelers with me.” (Leviticus 25:23, ISV)” Also, in Genesis 17:8, God promised Abraham and his descendants the land of Canaan as an everlasting gift, which he confirmed with an unconditional covenant:

“I’m establishing my covenant between me and you, and with your descendants who come after you, generation after generation, as an eternal covenant, to be your God and your descendants’ God after you. I’ll give to you and to your descendants the land to which you have traveled—all the land of Canaan—as an eternal possession. I will be their God.”

— Gen. 17:7–8 ISV

Moreover, in Genesis 15:18, He promised,“…I’m giving this land to your descendants, from the river of Egypt to the great Euphrates River…”

The Full Promised Land of Israel

Map: Full Promised Land of Israel (Come Divine Will, 2014)

Once God announced His Redeemer would come from Abraham’s seed (Genesis 22:15–18), Satan’s war was centered on that seed! Scripture records continuous assaults against God’s “chosen people” (the Jews) via old and new enemies alike. For instance, faithful to his pattern of Jewish destruction, Satan had 400 years to lay down a minefield polluting Canaan with Nephilim (See: Num 13:33) (Missler, 1999). However, when the Israelites moved into enemy territory (Genesis 22:17), God promised they would “…take possession of the gates of their enemies” – i.e. the land of Canaan. (Hacker)

Canaan stretched from the Persian Gulf in the east to the Mediterranean in the west. This region is also known the Levant and is synonymous with a portion of Canaan or the Promised Land.

The Levant

Map: The Levant

In AD 132, 62 years after the fall of Jerusalem, to humiliate the Jews and remove any Jewish association with their land, Rome renamed this region “Syria Palaestina” after Israel’s most bitter enemy, the Philistines.” (Archbold, 1996). Israel’s adversaries still use this term — Satan’s pattern of destruction and usurping continues.

Nonetheless, after 2,000 years of being out of the land, Israel became an independent state on May 14, 1948. God’s word states why:

“… I’m not about to act for your sake, you house of Israel, but for the sake of my holy reputation…”

— Ezekiel 36:22 ISV

“…I will gather you from the nations and bring you back from the countries where you have been scattered, and I will give you back the land of Israel again.”

— Ezekiel 11:17 ISV

The very next day, May 15, 1948, Israel’s “War of Independence” started as six Arab/neighbor states began “to rage or tumult” (Ps. 83:2) with armies, weapons, and threats. The Hebrew word for rage or tumult is hāmâ and can mean to cry aloud, rage, roar, make noise, tumult, be clamorous, or in an uproar. (Harris, Archer, & Waltke, 1999) It was with this aggressiveness they launched a holy war to annihilate the newborn state of Israel. (Dolan, 1991) The Mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Amin Al Husseini stated, “I declare a holy war, my Moslem brothers! Murder the Jews! Murder them all!” (Archbold, 1996).

Six nations that attacked Israel in her War of Independence

Map: Six nations that attacked Israel in her War of Independence (Jewish Virtual Library)

Israel’s military equipment was old and unreliable, and her army vastly outnumbered. Only God could save this tiny state (Archbold, 1996). Humanly speaking, she looked like Gideon with his army of 300 going against the mighty Midianites (Judges 8–9). However, like with Gideon, God fought her battle and she survived -‐-‐ just as He’d promised she would thousands of years before the first shot was fired:

“Who has ever heard of such a thing? And who ever sees such things? Can a country be born in a single day, or can a nation be brought forth in a single moment? Yet no sooner was Zion in labor than she delivered her children. Am I to open the womb and not deliver?” asks the LORD. “And when I bring to delivery, am I to close the womb?” asks your God. “Rejoice with Jerusalem, and be happy for her, all you who love her; rejoice with her in gladness, all you who mourn over her,”

— Isaiah 66:8–10, ISV

God furthermore made promises to the mountains of Israel:

“I’ll lead my people, my nation of Israel, across you mountains, and they will take possession of you again, and you’ll be their inheritance once more. Never again will you leave them robbed of children.”

— Ezekiel 36:12 ISV

In 1967, during the miraculous six‐day war, this promise was fulfilled — “Israel took possession of the mountains of Israel, including the old city of Jerusalem.” (Archbold, 1996)

Presently, Israel’s “allies” and enemies, relentlessly ramble on about “bringing peace to the Middle‐East” through, “two‐state solutions,” etc. It’s astonishing that the mountains of Israel are referred to as the “West Bank” when, in fact, they are the heart of Israel — Judea and Samaria (see map below). Actually, Abraham was in the “West Bank” when God promised him the land.” (ibid)

“Arise, walk through the land in the length of it and in the breadth of it; for I will give it unto you.”

— Genesis 13:17 KJV

The Mountains of Israel

Topographical Map: The Mountains of Israel (Saffold, 2014)

Major Adrian Agassi, an Israeli military judge and army lawyer, argues Israel’s right to settle in the land by referring to the Bible, “When we [Israelis] say that this is a political conflict, then we lose the battle… [it should be remembered that the ancient land of Israel is] given to us by the Bible, not by some United Nations.” (Rapoport, 2009)

The terrorist organization, ISIS, is the latest player in the game threatening Israel’s existence. Not surprisingly, ISIS detests the “Zionist regime” (their term for Israel) (Maloof, 2014). In April 2013, ISIS advanced its operation from Iraq into Syria; and changed their name from the Islamic State of Iraq (ISI) to “and al-Sham,” translated as “the Levant” or “Greater Syria.” This signified their mission was to conquer a wider area than present-day Syria (i.e., to include Israel) (Lamb, 2014). Why? “To reestablish the caliphate of the Levant.” (Lamb, 2014). Consistent with their name, and Satan’s pattern, they plan to seize the land for Islam. The following are two of their declarations:

“History will judge us after we free Palestine.” (ibid)

“All countries in this region are playing the sectarian card, just as they have long played the Palestinian card, but the difference with ISIS is that we are serious about Palestine and they are not. Tel Aviv will fall as fast as Mosul when the time is right.” (ibid)

In conclusion, regardless of what world leaders or Muslim terrorists think or opine, and in spite of being surrounded and outnumbered by her enemies, Israel continues to reside in Eretz Israel — proving God’s faithfulness. The day is coming when ALL of Canaan will be her land — “from the river of Egypt to the great Euphrates River; (Gen. 15:18) and she will “possess the gate of her enemy” (Gen 22:17)

God has promised.

Israel’s God is faithful and history is truly “His story.” The LORD’s gifts and callings have never been, nor will they ever be, revocable (Rom. 11:29). Canaan was promised, by a covenant, to the people of Israel as an everlasting possession (Gen 17:8). His land was not to be divided, and those doing so will be punished (Joel 3:2). “To attack God’s people and land is to attack God Himself.” (Archbold, 1996)

Therefore, we are to stand with Israel and her right to exist in the Promised Land. By doing so, we stand with the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Her enemies, like ISIS, will continue Satan’s pattern, but they won’t succeed because, as Proverbs 19:21, says, “Many plans occupy the mind of a man, but the LORD’s purposes will prevail.

Undeniably, God calls the shots!

TPP: The Start of Another Bad Deal

View Article Page | Print

Representatives of the twelve TPP member countries

Representatives of the twelve TPP member countries: Australia, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore, the United States, and Vietnam

It seems as if the Obama Administration has careened from one bad deal into another.

While wrapping up a nuclear arms control deal with Iran that the Iranians are already violating, the Obama administration is now trying to maneuver the Pacific Rim countries into a deal that would decrease each nation’s national sovereignty and hobble the national economies in general.

We’re talking about the Trans-Pacific Partnership deal a 12-country free trade agreement President Obama calls essential to stopping China from setting trade, labor and environmental standards in the Asia-Pacific region. As with other pieces of legislation that the U.S. administration has rammed through the legislature, the Administration is trying to get the deal passed quickly with the details well hidden.

The Democratic President, with the help of the Republican Congress has put the legislation on the “fast-track”, meaning there can be no changes to the deal. It has to be considered in an up/down, yes/no vote.

The deal is also being conducted in secret. The White House isn’t even telling Congress what it’s asking for, they say, or what it’s already promised foreign governments.

Not just anyone can see the TPP bill. If you want to hear the details of the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade deal, you’ve got to be a member of Congress, and you’ve have to go to classified briefings and leave your staff and cellphone at the door. If a member wants to read the bill, they have to go to a room in the basement of the Capitol Visitor Center and be handed it one section at a time, watched over as it is read, and hand over any notes that were made before the member can leave. Also the member can’t discuss the details of anything they have read.

“It’s like being in kindergarten,” said Rep. Rosa DeLauro (D-Conn.), who’s become the leader of the opposition to President Barack Obama’s trade agenda. “You give back the toys at the end.”

U.S. Trade Representative spokesman Matt McAlvanah countered this argument by saying, “We’ve worked closely with congressional leaders on both sides of the aisle to balance unprecedented access to classified documents with the appropriate level of discretion that’s needed to ensure Americans get the best deal possible in an ongoing, high-stakes international negotiation.”

“He’s (President Obama) indignant when we say it’s secret,” said Rep. Keith Ellison (D-Minn.). “Maybe there’s some definition of secrecy he knows that I don’t know.”

However, if history proves to be a good predictor, no matter what indignity a member of Congress — an equal partner to the President, suffers, they will probably go meekly ahead and pass the bill.

While having a certain amount of secrecy can be needed in negotiations to allow for a certain give and take and changing of positions, it can hinder putting through such a massive piece of legislation. Administration aides say they can’t make the details public because the negotiations are still going on with multiple countries at once; if for example, Vietnam knew what the American bottom line was with Japan, that might drive them to change their own terms.

However, the “classified” briefings and bill readings in basement rooms are making the members of Congress queasy.

“The access to information is totally at the whim of (U.S. Trade Representative) Ambassador Froman,” said Rep. Lloyd Doggett (D-Texas), who’s a hard no on fast track but says he’d like to see other ways of promoting international trade. “He likes to make available information that he thinks helps his case, and if it conflicts, then he doesn’t make the information available. My chief of staff who has a top secret security clearance can learn more about ISIS or Yemen than about this trade agreement,” Doggett said.

“He’s incredibly condescending. It’s like, ‘You’d be all for this if only you hadn’t gotten an F in economics,’” said Rep. Brad Sherman (D-Calif.), who said he’s opposed to what he’s seen because it lacks labor standards and measures to address currency manipulation.

“We know when we’re being suckered,” said Rep. Alan Grayson (D-Fla.), who said he believes that the USTR (United States Trade Representative) quotes percentages instead of absolute values on trade statistics that give an overly positive impression. “It’s not only condescending, it’s misleading.”

While free trade is generally a good thing (and for many, a subject for debate), the TPP is a bad deal.

A free trade agreement is very simple. A country can do it unilaterally; a nation passes a piece of legislation basically saying “from the day forward, all barriers, restrictions, and controls by government over the free flow of goods and services between the United States and the rest of the world are eliminated and abolished. And as long as trade is peaceful, that is nonviolent, and not fraudulent, the government will not and has no basis to interfere in any way with the trade that people undertake.” That is all there is to it.

However, the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and now this Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement, are hundreds if not thousands of pages long. Why? It is because controls, restrictions, commands, prohibitions, existing between the trading of goods coming from one country to another are specified.

Basically governments influenced by ideological forces, as well as the spider’s web of special interest groups that respectively exist in these different countries, all working to sort of manage the agreement to see that it is to their benefit more than some other nation, regardless of its effect on a respective country’s own taxpayers or their own citizens as consumers.

What is in this treaty? Well, in many ways we don’t know. Everything is being done behind closed doors. A fast-track legislation is now going through Congress where it would a vote up or down, which sometimes may not be a bad idea because every congressman then tries to add, as they say, the ornaments to the legislative Christmas tree to benefit special interests.

But the fact is that we don’t know what’s in this. We have no idea who’s being benefited, who is going to be hurt, how long certain regulations and control will be in effect, and how they could be modified or not.

The main problem is having governments behind closed doors, in a “smoke-filled room,” guided by ideology, environmentalists, trade unions, and people who don’t want the competition of foreign rivals. They are all playing games behind those closed doors, and we won’t know the results until this agreement is offered to the public. Supposedly this will be sometime during the second half of the summer, as per the published legislative schedule.

So we can’t even criticize it or determine its good points. Yes, tariffs are lowered, quota limits have been abolished but there may be some not-so-good points with benefits to one group, special privileges to others, and a subsidy to someone else.

We don’t know exactly who the winners and losers are because we don’t know what’s in the treaty. We can say it is a treaty being made by governments and not by private individuals, producers or consumers.

Some examples of What is in the Agreement

While most of the agreement is shrouded in secrecy, there are a few off-the-record things the media have been able to get from some of the participants in the negotiations.

Leaked documents appear to show that negotiators are writing provisions to restrict Congress and our state legislatures. These new rules would tell us what laws and regulations our own country can pass or enforce in areas like:

Also, the media has been pointing out that the Japanese government for the entire post-World War II period has been very protective of the Japanese domestic rice producers. They are high-cost producers who have basically a locked-in market for Japanese consumers of rice. The Japanese government realizes that they may have to lose some autonomy to assure a protected market for their domestic rice growers. What we don’t know is what they are being offered in return.

The trade unions are up in arms because they realize that in this transformative change in the global division of labor, there are sectors and industries that will not be there at the end of the day, and American workers and some of these union sectors will have to shift jobs. The unions are afraid of losing even more membership when they’re historically at lows in the post-World War II period. It appears that there are provisions in the bill that call for “fair wages” in the other signatory countries as well as environmental restrictions and controls, basically to impose higher costs on the rival producers who otherwise would be offering less expensive goods to American consumers.

Some people have pointed out, from the leaked details, that there are some Asian partners in this agreement who will certainly benefit from it. America will lower some trade barriers or other tariff-related or trade-related restrictions, and those countries will have a greater and easier opportunity to import their country’s goods into the U.S.

Reactions in Member Countries

In New Zealand, an open letter to the government from 260 health practitioners was sent last May that warned that any attempt to regulate the activities of businesses that affect community health, such as the advertising and sale of tobacco or alcohol, will be overridden by the TPP. Higher costs for medicines are forecast as pharmaceutical companies oppose national programs that regulate prices.

In Canada, there is a similar concern as expressed in the U.S. and New Zealand that the public has not had the chance to read the fine print of a deal that many believe will affect every aspect of their economy. The lack of transparency associated with the TPP virtually guarantees that it will be presented to Canadians on a “take it or leave it” basis with no informed public discussion or advance debate about the substantive terms.

There has been a case made in Canada that failing to join the TPP will leave Canada out of a major trading block. Yet the reality is that Canada already has free trade agreements with nearly half of the TPP countries, including the U.S., Mexico, Chile, Peru and South Korea. Moreover, Canada has engaged in free trade agreement negotiations with Japan and Singapore.

Free trade agreements with the other TPP member countries like Brunei and Malaysia might provide some modest benefits to Canadian businesses, but many Canadians believe that the costs of the TPP are a steep price to pay given the incremental gains that come from free trade access to a handful of additional countries.

Where elements of the agreement have become public through a series of high profile leaks, there has been other, ample reasons for concern. The investor-state dispute settlement provisions could lead to a proliferation of lawsuits against the Canadian government by companies.

Also, leaked versions of TPP intellectual property text point to the extension of the term of copyright, which would mean that no new Canadian works would enter the public domain for decades. Moreover, e-commerce rules may block countries from enacting domestic privacy protections that mandate that personal information be stored locally.

Man’s Longing

Many Biblical writers deduce from the Book of Revelation that in the end times the entire world will be controlled by one central world government. Since many of these writers also believe that the end is near, they frequently examine the world today to see if there are signs that point to a one world government. Some of these writers predicted that the United Nations was such a sign and that it will evolve into the end-time world government that the Antichrist will control. Still others have posited that groups such as the Club of Rome and the Illuminati were precursors to a one world government.

While the TPP, like NAFTA and the Green Movement does not probably set the stage for a one world government, it certainly points to Man’s apparent longing for one.

Be assured that, someday, there will be a one world government with a Jewish Emperor.

During the Millennium, this yearning for a one-world government will be realized. Christ, from Jerusalem, will rule the entire world. He will possess the wisdom to know what should be done and He will possess the power to do what should be done.

When the seventh angel blew his trumpet, there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The world’s kingdom has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah, and he will rule forever and ever.”

— Revelation 11:15, ISV

The world has long needed this kind of dictator, with or without TPP.

On the Mark of the Beast, Part 3

Binary Key

Ed. Note: What follows is Part Three of a three-part series on the Mark of the Beast. The author, Dr. William Welty, is the Executive Director of the ISV foundation and also serves as Research Analyst in Advanced Communication Technologies and Adjunct Professor of Middle Eastern Studies on the faculty of Koinonia Institute.

All Biblical citations are taken from the International Standard Version (ISV) translation of the Bible.

2. The Mark of the Beast

Here’s a copy of the text of Revelation 13:18 from Codex Sinaiticus:

How blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord!

Revelation 13:18 in Codex Sinaiticus. Note the presence of horizontal markers between the lines, indicative of possible abbreviation and/or symbolism being called to the attention of the reader or copyist above the letter “o” in the Greek word “exeko” in the second to last line of the text.

The key part of the image to which we call the reader’s attention are the last two letters in the second to last line, above. They are the Greek letters kappa and omicron. They correspond to the English letters “k” and “o,” and comprise the last two letters of the Greek word that translates into English as the number “sixty” in this verse.

Please keep in mind that Codex Sinaiticus is an uncial manuscript. In other words, with the exception of a few words (such as the word for “sixty” in Revelation 13:18), all of the letters in the manuscript are CAPITAL letters. Minuscule manuscripts of the New Testament were written entirely in lower case letters. There were no early manuscripts composed with both upper and lower case letters, except as noted above when the uncial manuscript copyist was attempting to communicate an abbreviation or other matter to the attention of the reader or later copyist. Miniscule manuscripts that include Revelation 13:18 had a tendency not to spell out the words “six hundred,” “sixty,” or “six” as words, as can be seen in Codex Sinaiticus. Instead, they would only print the numeric values themselves in a row, perhaps like this: χ ξ ς. We will leave it to Arabic language experts to debate the philological resemblance between the Shahadatan and the Greek letters χ, ξ, and ς.

Summary and Conclusions

We do not believe that the Greek text of Revelation 13:18 necessarily requires that the hegemony of Anti-Christ includes absolute world-wide domination of a global currency to which adherence is a strict and involuntary requirement. The Greek text of Revelation 13 includes the clear and obvious indication that those who take the mark of the Beast will do so voluntarily, perhaps out of the same type of allegiance that influenced people in the former Soviet Union to join the Communist Party in order to enjoy the best of the benefits of that regime. Taking the mark of the Beast will be a symbol of adherence to a false religious system that rejects the hegemony of Messiah HaNaggid, the Messiah-Prince of Israel, Jesus of Nazareth.

Now as to the dangers of digital currencies, electronic money such as BitCoin, or the dangers inherent in dependence upon fiat paper money, we have little to contribute to the debate that hasn’t already been noted. We see danger in RFID technology for a variety of reasons, but none of them relate to the false religious system described in Revelation 13. In the midst of our debates about these subjects, let’s be careful to distinguish between what the text is saying, and what it’s not necessarily saying. One may, as I do, oppose RFIDs and certain types of ID chips, without seeing them as the mark of the Beast. I see them as violations of privacy and security, with private and/or government intrusion not welcome on any level without my consent.

Afterward: Toward a Biblically-based Alternative

But then again, it’s the consent issue that constitutes the problem, is it not? It seems to me, therefore, that Christians have an obligation to the world we live in to do something more significant and lasting than merely to sit back and to criticize without actually proposing practical solutions to the problems about which we write. Anybody can smell a rotten egg, but it takes a healthy chicken to lay a good one. Am I the only one who seems to have noted that an astonishingly large number of Christian objectors to RFID technology haven’t bothered to propose their own biblically-based solution to what they perceive is a problem? All these objectors seem to be doing nowadays is to criticize, to publish books, to write articles, and to distribute Internet blogs of dubious scholarly disposition about RFIDs, all the while selling lots of DVD’s and other materials about how their grammatically unsupportable theories “prove” what the Mark of the Beast is or will be.

Frankly, because I hold an alternative, contrarian position in this regard, for a number of years now I’ve been working with some international business acquaintances located in Europe and within the African Union, very quietly and out-of-the public eye, on a workable alternative to electronic, cashless transactions that depend on privacy-violating RFID chips or other intrusive technologies. We’ve done this as quietly as we reasonably can within the context of the revealing nature of the Internet so as to avoid being attacked by a hostile banking industry or by hostile government regulatory agencies such as the IMF or the World Bank.

Naturally, over the last few years, the only attacks we’ve received about our projects have come from the so-called “evangelical Christian” community. Some of the more abusive, libelous, and uninformed members of this group have accused me and Dr. Missler of being members of the Illuminati, the One-World Government, or other global elitist communities. Some of these clueless individuals have confused our watchdog role of observing various United Nations technology groups with which we’ve been affiliated with or have had membership in, as if we’re in lockstep with their one world agenda.

The truth is that, just as if there’s a wasp in the room, I intend to keep an eye on it—all the while keeping my can of bug killer in my hand—so also we monitor various U.N. agencies so we can monitor their activities.

SWANsat

As many of our Koinonia Institute members have observed, for a number of years now I have been involved in the development of a revolutionary new method of providing Information and Communication Technology (ICT) services via geosynchronous satellite. The primary focus of this project has been to create a global Super-Wide Area Network Satellite (SWANsat) System that, when made operational, could provide a world-wide private ICT link to facilitate secure telecommunications and ICT. It became quickly evident early in the development process that, when coupled with ultra-high security encryption capability, it could be possible to develop a means to facilitate local and international banking and commerce that could stand independent of oppression, control, or malevolent hacking attempts while still maintaining lawful economic commerce, all the while bypassing oppressive efforts to interfere with legitimate transactions.

2D

Toward this end, one of our associate companies has developed a comprehensive payments platform that provides a mobile phone-based payment controller that can be deployed without the need for brick-and-mortar buildings, banking institutions, or point-of-sale hardware. The system is called a “2 Dimensional payment mechanism”. It provides seamless integration for all retail, e-commerce, point-of-sale, and mobile wallet payment systems with a state-of-the-art controller that operates without RFID technology or intrusive, privacy-violating inquiries from parties uninvolved in the cash transaction being undertaken between the payer and payee. The only electronics involved is the user’s mobile phone.

GTiPay

As developed and rolled out into the African markets by our associates at GTiPay, Ltd., it’s significant what is not involved in the newly patented system:

Instead, the 2D system incorporates the following positive, privacy-advocating characteristics:

This system is designed to eliminate abusive financial experiences that have been affecting citizens of Developing Countries (DC’s) and Least Developed Countries (LDC’s) within the African Union, who are subject to monopolistic abuse by international payment facilitators with respect to wire transfers, ACH transactions, and SWIFT transactions. When systems such as the 2D concept are fully rolled out world-wide, with attendant corresponding bank representations being established in other continents, the usefulness of companies such as Western Union may well become severely limited.
