Merry Christmas to all! This is not really a Christmas article, but it's one that, nevertheless, conveys the incredible "gift of freedom" that we all receive when Christ becomes our life. "As far as the east is from the west, so far hath He removed our transgressions from us." (Psalm 103:11-12)

I recently received a precious letter with this comment: "The comparison of the human personality with Solomon's Temple has made a tremendous impact on me. ...This has been one of the most fascinating and life changing studies that I've done.

In the last article, we continued our exploration of the architecture of Solomon's Temple. Using the Scripture, "...ye are the Temple of God" (1 Corinthians 3:16), we compared each of the rooms and features of Solomon's Temple to our own internal design - our spirit, heart, will, soul and body.

In 1 Corinthians 3:16 Paul says, "Know ye not that ye are the Temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?" What is Paul really saying here?

So far in our series on renewing our minds, we have learned that in order to be transformed, we must constantly "put off" all the garbage in our own thinking and "put on" the Mind of Christ.

Why is the Christian walk so hard when Scripture says it's supposed to be easy?

Over the last few months, we have been exploring, not only what the functions of the Mind of Christ are, but also its role and purpose. Our pivotal Scripture has been Isaiah 11:1-2, which lists the operations and capabilities of the Holy Spirit giving us the Mind of Christ.

Recently, it has come to our attention that many people are confused both about the existence of what is commonly called the subconscious and its role. Many Christians, driven by their concern about the preoccupation of psychologists with the subconscious, mistakenly ignore its Biblical basis.

As we continue our series on being "transformed by the renewing of our minds," from Romans 12:1-2, I'd like to explore a few more reasons why mind renewal is so very important.

Romans 12:1-2 tells us that the way we are "transformed," the way we learn to live Christ's Life, is by the renewing of our minds - putting off our own negative and corrupt thinking and putting on God's Thoughts. As we continue in our series on being transformed by the renewing of our minds , we want to cover two important questions.
