We are thrilled to announce a significant milestone in the journey of our ministry – we have relocated from the serene landscapes of Post Falls, Idaho, to the warmer climate of Cocoa, Florida! This move marks a new chapter in our mission to create, develop, and distribute materials to stimulate, encourage, and facilitate serious study of the Bible as the inerrant Word of God.

We have just returned from the most astonishing—and encouraging—event of my entire ministry. After eight videotaping sessions in Portsmouth, England, and then participating in our “Berean” Bible Study Trip to Israel, I continued on our speaking tour throughout Australia and New Zealand, speaking on Strategic Perspectives, sponsored jointly by United Christian Broadcasters and the Koinonia Institute.

The 2nd Annual Koinonia Institute Conference was held at the Coeur d’Alene Resort November 9th and 10th and was even better than the year before! This year we included a special pre-conference gathering on November 8th, exclusively for our KI students, at our K-House Auditorium. They were treated to a private session with our featured conference speaker, Dr. Jerome Corsi.

We have just returned from what has been heralded as one of the best-organized, most informative visits to Israel. We spent four days in the north-Galilee and the Golan Heights-and then five days in and around Jerusalem. Our visits included being hosted during flight operations at the Ramat David Air Force Base, which lies at the foot of Mount Megiddo in the Valley of Jezreel, as well as a volunteer day with the 603rd Engineering Battalion in the Golan.

Our visits to the Holy Land are always exhilarating and refreshing. Our first-time visitors always come alive in the faith when they see all the historic places and realize we serve a living God who acts in history!

Last month we launched our first online course at Koinonia Institute. The purpose of the online class is to provide both structure and community for our KI student body. Currently you can take all eight of our courses at any time in a self-study mode, but we have found that many need additional structure to keep then on task. In other words, oftentimes we get stuck in the road and we need an occasional push and that's what our online format provides. Our first class, Prophecy 101, is a three-unit course ending October 10th that requires students to:

We have just returned from one of the most encouraging and uplifting weeks we've ever spent! We spent a week at the southern tip of India teaching at the Seminary of Gospel for Asia, located in Tiruvalla, India. We were, again, overwhelmed with the effectiveness of this remarkable ministry, which is literally changing an entire country.

It was Monday morning on the East Coast when a man hears a radio show with Chuck discussing the upcoming Steeling conference in five days on the West Coast. Motivated to attend, he gets in his car and drives for four days to Anaheim. Having completed his stay he now says he would do it again - it was worth every mile!

We took our usual route on this years study tour of Israel: up the coast from Caesarea to Mt. Carmel and the Jezreel Valley, then across Nazareth to the Galilee. We made a seaside hotel our base while in the Galilee, and our excursions there included a shipboard study between Tiberias and Capernaum as well as circumnavigating the lake.

It was the hottest ticket in town! For the fourth straight Steeling conference, every ticket was snapped up. From 9 AM to 9 PM, the top Bible teachers in America (and one from Israel) tackled tough Bible topics. And no one was disappointed!"I wouldn't miss this for the world," said Tom who drove from Kansas. "I set my vacation each year to coincide with this conference," he added.

From the beginning of our ministry, we have been committed to assisting, in every way possible, the encouragement, development, and facilitation of home Bible study fellowships. It has been our experience that small study groups, meeting during the week as a supplement to Sunday church services, are among the most dynamic ways to encourage personal spiritual growth. Most of our materials have been developed with this as an objective.

For the past twenty years, Nancy and I have had a unique relationship with Lew Phelps. We remember him as a young man that always attended our Monday evening Bible studies at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa. It wasn't long before Lew began to work at the church for Pastor Chuck Smith, where one of his duties was making sure our Bible studies were recorded and made available on cassette afterwards.

We had a most unusual phone call a few weeks ago. Tommy Fry, a loyal subscriber since our Big Bear days back in the early '90s, had an interesting problem. He races cars with the NASCAR Elite Division Featherlite Southwest Series, and the race coming up in Irwindale, CA, that weekend was going to be nationally televised. At the last moment, the sponsor for his car's hood had fallen through and time was running out to find a new one.

It's hard to believe that this is the 10th year of Steeling Bible Conferences! But every year, for every conference, the task has always been the same-bring in the best and the brightest Bible teachers in the nation to expositionally hammer away on tough subjects.

Summer is always a welcome change of schedule: vacations, camping, trips, a time for family. And, of course, family time is so crucial. The highest priority in the home is love, and the summer opportunities provide great occasions to focus on things neglected. It is also a time of ad hoc stewardship: What will this summer accomplish? When Labor Day signals a return to school and other normal routines, what will the summer months have yielded for your "investment"? Give it some thought.
